If your wedding is of a more intimate style of under 60 guests including the bridal party. This fee includes seating for 50, all cutlery, plates, glassware, tables, outdoor furniture and games. It also includes a bar manager and bar staff, and an on the day assistant. If you have more guests than 50 there will be a surcharge of $30.00 + GST per person upto 60 guests including the bridal party.
Additional guests over 50 add a surcharge of $30.00 + GST per person.
The fee to hire The Summer House for your ceremony and reception up to 100 guests will be $12,000 + GST. This fee includes seating for 100, all cutlery, plates, glassware, tables, outdoor furniture and games. It also includes a bar manager and bar staff, and an on the day assistant. If you have more guests than 100 there will be a surcharge of $30.00 + GST per person.
Additional guests over 100 add a surcharge of $30.00 + GST per person.
The Summer House has two bars. We supply all bar staff and a bar manager. We source where possible local wine, beer and RTDs along with non alcoholic drinks.
The location offers a stunning view high over the Boulder Bank to Tasman Bay and beyond, with Nelson City in the foreground to the left. The Summer House is only 10 minutes from Nelson City.
All our hire fees include tables, chairs, glassware, crockery and cutlery etc. You just need to bring tablecloths (to suit your style) and decorations.
Due to a wide variety of tastes and budgets we allow our clients to pick their own caterer and catering style to suit them specifically. Please contact us directly to request a list of our approved caterers.
Mini bus transport for a majority of guests is highly recommended. This is usually achieved by details being provided on the wedding invitation, for your guests to book and pay for a seat this is approximately $15 pp.
We have several ways in which we can run bar tabs for you and your guests. We are happy to discuss this with you.
These services are personal to the couple and we are happy to work with your chosen suppliers to make you day extra special. However it is up to you to find and book your marriage celebrant, photographer, florist, musicians etc.
