We have a choice of five caters that you can choose from to cater for your wedding. These have been chosen as they have a wide variety of plating formats, culinary styles and budget price points. Please contact us for the full list and contact details of our caterers.
All furniture indoor and out (including outdoor loungers, games and umbrellas) a commercial kitchen, two bars, crockery, cutlery, glassware, bar staff, a bar manager and onsite coordinator are included in the package price.
Your hire fee allows you exclusive/private access to The Summer House from 12 noon on the day before the wedding, until 12 noon the day after the wedding. This allows you time to set up hire items, archways, floral arrangements and to hold a rehearsal.
Then the day after the wedding to collect hire items and lost property etc.
Whilst we have plenty of onsite car parking, it is regulation that a majority of your guests arrive and depart via mini buses. We can assist you with arrangements for this.
Due to The Summer Houses liquor licence we are unable to provide a BYO service. However if you have a special wine or beer you would like to be served on your big day let us know in advance and we will aim to order this in for you.
On site are a number of stunning locations for photo opportunities. The Summer House staff are happy to show you where these are. This saves time if you wish to stay close by for your guests.
The Summer House has a helipad site if you and your bridal party would like to dash away for some extra special photos at a different location.
The use of candles at The Summer House are permitted inside only. They are best in volitive holders or hurricane lanterns due to the sea breeze that we get in the evenings. Sparklers are also permitted, depending on on the time of the year and are limited to the carpark area.
If you are wanting to have some special transport for the bridal party this is easily arranged.
We love a little confetti shower, please use only natural material confetti (rose petals, rice paper etc). Anything that bio degrades is great.
All cleaning and tidying up is undertaken by The Summer House staff. You just need to return the day after the wedding to collect any lost property, flowers and hire items that belong to you.
